The 146th birthday of Pakistan's Founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is being celebrated today. On this day, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah gave the Muslims of the subcontinent an independent homeland in the form of Pakistan.
On December 25, 1876, Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born in Karachi's Wazir Mansion. No one could have predicted that this young man would go on to become a great leader and play a crucial role in sailing the Muslims of the subcontinent.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Quaid-e-Azam, received his primary education from Sindh Madrasah-e-Islam. He then went on to graduate from Bombay University and went on to attend college in London.
After earning his law degree in London in 1895, he regularly returned to Bombay to practice law there.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah officially joined the Indian National Congress in 1896 to begin his political career, but after some time, he realized that the Congress was only a Hindu-only party.
He joined the All India Muslim League in 1913, which was the beginning of the official movement for a separate nation.
Their struggle finally paid off, and on August 14, 1947, Pakistan, the Muslim subcontinent's dream of a separate homeland, was realized.
