Elections in Punjab will take place on April 30, President approves

ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi approved the date of April 30 for Punjab elections.

The Election Commission had suggested to the President the dates of April 30 to May 7 for the election in Punjab.

The President of the State has approved the date of April 30 for the election in Punjab after considering the dates suggested by the Election Commission.

The Election Commission had issued a letter to the President and the Governor of KP in the light of the Supreme Court's order, in which the Governor has been asked to respond for the election in KPK.
