Car bomb blast in Turkey, 8 police officers injured


Eight policemen have been injured in a car bomb explosion in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakir.


The explosion took place near the highway connecting the southeastern province of Diyarbakır with Mardin, as a result of which an armored police minibus was damaged, while 8 officers were also taken to the hospital with injuries. 


The explosion took place around 5 am when the officers were on their way to Diyarbakir in southern Turkey.


It should be noted that there was an explosion in Istanbul last month, as a result of which 6 people were killed and 81 were injured.
