CM Punjab Takes Vote Of Condifence From Punjab Assembly || After Much Ado, Elahi Proves Majority

The PDM's strategies were unsuccessful, and Parvaiz Elahi remained Punjab's Chief Minister.

Lahore: During the session of the Punjab Assembly, the confidence vote was given to Chief Minister Pervez Elahi. With 186 votes, Pervez Elahi has remained Punjab's Chief Minister.

Mian Aslam Iqbal and Raja Basharat presented the resolution for the vote of confidence. Members of the PML-N and PP caused a stir in the House, but Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and PML-N leaders insisted that the total number was correct. Azam Nazir and Atta Rar both left the House.

Speech in the Assembly by Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi

In his speech, Parvaiz Elahi expressed gratitude to Imran Khan, the PTI, independent members, and QL members for their complete trust. He stated that the Governor of Punjab's order was unconstitutional. He stated that Imran Khan is the only leader after Quaid-e-Azam. They believed that people would not give in. The PML-N routinely purchases and sells members.
