2023 Pakistan Super League Opening Ceremony HBL PSL 8
A grand ceremony marked the beginning of the eighth Pakistan Super League season in Multan.The Pakistan Super League's eighth season kicked off at Multan Cricket Stadium with the national anthem performed by singer Aima Baig.
Najam Sethi, Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, delivered the inaugural address.
In his speech, Chairman PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi said that matches will be held in Quetta and Peshawar next year. He also said that the PSL has given the people a lot of assets, and this year, 21 foreign players and more than 10 local players will make their debuts.
The event also featured stunning demonstrations of virtual reality. There will be 34 matches in four cities during Pakistan Super League Season 8.

During the event, Sahir Ali Baga and Aima Baig gave excellent performances, and Shay Gul, Asim Azhar, and Faris Shafi performed the official song. To celebrate the start of the PSL, a stunning display of fireworks was staged, illuminating the area with lights and colors.
On Monday, February 13, the 8th season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will begin. Today, Qalandars and Sultans will compete in Multan in the event's opening match.
The Multan Satans and the Lahore Qalandars, the reigning champions, both have their sights set on winning the competition.
Opening Ceremony
The Pakistan Super League is now complete, and six teams will compete for the Chichmamati trophy starting today. Lahore Qalandars will defend their title, and the match will begin at 7:30 p.m. Music will be played, fireworks will be lit, and Multan will host the Pakistan Super League's opening ceremony.
HBL PSL 8
Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans engaged in extensive training at the Multan Cricket Stadium prior to the opening match. The batting, bowling, and fielding techniques and fitness levels of both teams were the focus of the practice session.
The Qalandars are already prepared to rock the match, and Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf have also joined the squads. Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf's fast bowling in the nets has alerted the opposition.
It is important to note that the Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans teams have played each other 13 times, with the Sultans winning 7 of those encounters and the Qalandars playing in 6 of those encounters.

All eyes are on the Multan Cricket Stadium to see if Lahore can start the PSL season on a high note or if they can avenge their loss in the previous final to Multan Qalandars.
On the other hand, the renovation work at Multan Stadium is done, the stands have been cleaned, the pitches are ready, and traditional pitch spin is likely to be good.
The security arrangements for the cricket event have also been planned out; approximately 8,000 law enforcement personnel will be stationed at various locations.
